Stainless Steel 8K Mirror Finish Polishing Process

frame 04 2

Our polishing line takes 304 and 316 grade stainless steel panels from satin grind to a true 8K liquid-mirror finish. The reference frames below show a large curved panel moving through the final buffing stages — an abrasive wheel spinning at controlled speed, refining the surface until it reflects the workshop with sharp, distortion-free clarity.

8K mirror polish is reserved for feature-grade work: hotel lobbies, museum interiors, art installations, sculptural columns, and architectural ceilings. Workers in white gloves wipe the panel down after the final pass to remove polishing compound, then inspect the reflection for haze, orange peel, or micro-scratches before the protective film goes on.
