8K Mirror Stainless Steel UFO Capsule Hotel | ARTDSN
This UFO capsule hotel shell is fabricated entirely from 304 stainless steel, polished to an 8K mirror finish before it leaves our factory. Every panel is cut, rolled, TIG-welded and buffed in-house at ARTDSN’s workshop in China, then crated and shipped as a complete modular pod for on-site lifting.
The shell is dimensioned for a single-occupancy stargazing suite: a curved tubular monocoque, double-glazed observation dome on top, and a service core that fits plumbing and HVAC in the base ring. The standing installation in our yard is the same geometry we ship — there is no rendering gap between concept and delivery.
- Material: 304 stainless steel, 2.0–3.0 mm shell gauge depending on panel
- Finish: 8K mirror polish, RA ≤ 0.05 μm on the outer skin
- Shell height: roughly 3.0 m, footprint about 4.6 m × 2.2 m, dry weight 1.2 t
- Welded monocoque frame, no exposed fasteners on the visible skin
- Cut-outs pre-prepared for dome, door, MEP penetrations, and lifting eyes
- Surface protected with peel-off film, packed in an export wooden crate
Common sites are roadside glamping resorts, lakeside stargazing pods, and desert eco-retreats where the mirror skin reflects the landscape. We can adjust the entry-door side, dome tinting, and interior fit-out on request.
